a musical theater performance for one percussionist and three electric guitars

Music Composition, Production and Concept by Dimitrios Nikolaos Stavrou
Concept, Direction, Haiku, and Supporting Text by Dimitrios Vekris

The work is an allegorical narrative based on excerpts from the Odyssey.
The text is a series of haiku.

On stage, there are two characters: Odysseus and Goddess of Fate.
Goddess of Fate is the bearer of the haiku, and Odysseus is the recipient.
Fate is a tripartite deity (Clotho, Lachesis, Atropos).
The first line of each haiku is delivered by Clotho, the second by Lachesis, and the third by Atropos.
Each haiku refers to a chapter of Odysseus's journey on his return to Penelope.
The first line is the initial reference that provides an image or some data that serves as the beginning of each chapter.
The second line gives information about the nature or condition to which Odysseus is subjected in each chapter.
The third line leads to the completion of each cycle (death) and is the phrase from which Odysseus must derive the lesson of each chapter.
The sequence of chapters is presented at will, and the interpretation, adaptation, and use of symbols from the Odyssey are freely made for the purposes of this project.
