Guided by a distinct category of movement and transformation described by Aristotle as alteration (Alloíosis, Αλλοίωσις), my intention in this work is to explore an ongoing metamorphosis of instrumental timbres. Each musical element transforms as an active entity within a constructed musical reality, shaped by either dialogue and unity or by tension and contradiction. “At what point in space-time do I embrace transformation...? At what point in space-time do I remain who I am...?”
